Nmw
I am confused - what does this have to do with your Garmin eTrex 10? Edited November 11, 2016 by Nmw Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
wow... If I read that correctly, you might have stet the record for the last person to use windows 98. These newer GPS devices should just work plug and play with modern operating systems. Just attach the USB cable to the device and your computer and it'll appear as an attached drive in your explorer window. Easy beezy. That's all you really need. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
Make sure that the GPS under Setup / System / Interface is set to "Garmin Serial" or "Garmin Spanner". If in spanner mode, choose yes to mass transfer mode. Quote Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
Make sure that the GPS under Setup / System / Interface is set to "Garmin Serial" or "Garmin Spanner". If in spanner mode, choose yes to mass transfer mode. The Garmin eTrex 20 doesn't have an interface option. Under "Setup/System/USB mode" the options are "Mass Storage" or "Garmin." Mass Storage should be selected and no driver is needed. I'm sure the eTrex 10 uses the same menu structure. Quote Link to comment
