+OBNative
I was messing with the settings and now my "tracks" are not following my route. The line is straight from where I started to where I am. When I open up the map there is a box that says "Drive to ......." I only use the gps for geocaching and not for driving. When in the forest, the tracks function has gotten me out of some difficult situations, and I would to get it back to where is was. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
yogazoo
Hello John, What you describe seems to be a result of your tracklog not being recorded. The straight line is just a line from your last recorded point to your current location and doesn't represent your "tracklog". Sounds to me like you simply have track recording turned off. Try turning on your track recording and see if that solves your issue. Quote Link to comment
+OBNative
Thank you. The "tracks" are working, and I was able to get the "prompt" dialogue box to disappear. Regarding "routing" the only one that will navigate is "direct routing." If I select any of the other choices and press the compass button, a message is displayed " Route Calculation Error: Maps do not have routable roads in this area." What does that mean? +OBNative
The maps that are enabled and came pre-loaded with the 650T are Topo U.S. 100 v5 and World DEM Basemap, NR. I also have the Northwest Trails maps from Switchbacks.com overlaid on the topo map. The Northwest Trails maps cover Washington, Oregon, Idaho Montana, and British Columbia. Quote Link to comment
