+Panther&Pine
DanceGypsy is wrapping up her Peace Corps journey, she organized a GeoTour as part of her outreach. Kinda cool, and it's nice to have a passing mention in the newspaper that isn't a bad or incorrect. Quote Link to comment

And now we need to get a group of us headed to Peru for some geocaching awesomeness! Anyone know a rich benefactor (because I can't afford it, but I still wanna go)?? Quote Link to comment

A few years ago I attended a meeting in Ethiopia and one of the other participants was from Peru. He proposed that our next scheduled meeting should be at his organization in Iquitos, Peru but unfortunately it never happened. I'd be curious to see if any of the geotour caches were placed in Iquitos as it sounds like a really interesting place. It's the largest city in the world that you can't get to by road. There's a small airport there and since it's on the Amazon river, accessible by boat. Last I checked, there is one traditional cache and one virtual in Iquitos. Quote Link to comment
