+Malemotives
I just completed a leisurely four day drive, from Seattle, WA to Whittier (LA), CA. I took my time...... and did a lot of geocaching along the way: in Washington, Oregon and California. I appreciate the work that CO's go through to bring us these challenges. I'll be here for a couple of week and then start back to Seattle..... YES, Geocaching along the way. Quote Link to comment
+jellis
I did that when I moved to Washington from the bay area. Hit most of the rest stops. Quote Link to comment

I took a leisurely 4 day drive from Toronto to Vancouver via the US geocaching all the way too, it was a lot of fun. I usually drive from Vancouver to LA area or Vegas in under 24 hours, couldn't imagine taking 4 days. Quote Link to comment
+Malemotives
Speaking of finding GCs while travelling..... I had a couple of DNFs at Rest stops. One was just nowhere to be found, although there was evidence on the ground of something having been there. The other was a drag that I couldn't find it, but it was an entertaining search. I heard the rattle snake before I saw it, and it was a good 8 feet in front of me. Good thing OI had a good flashlight and my walking stick. It was a long, wet walk out to the search area and besides the snake, there were all sorts of night animals about. I decided I'd rather be in the comfort of my RV and headed back.
