+Hillster
When I have seen other peoples logs some refer to tools. Now I do have a few such as tweezers, torch pliers etc. However, some refer to numbers. Such as 'removed cache using tool number 9. Can any one put me on the site where I can find out what each number of a tool is thanks. See you in the field. Love meeting other cachers in the field. Quote Link to comment
+Chief301
I don't think there's any set "list" of caching tools. Every person's caching kit is a little different. Are you sure it wasn't more along the lines of "removed cache using tool....#9 (as in "9th find today")? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Maybe it's a local caching site thing? Check with any local groups. Someone there might have come up with a list of tools in numbered order. Might even be a gag on said list. Years ago, a friend of mine came up with a tool to dislodge caches (those high on trees, raised and lowered with pulleys/rope) frozen in place in the Winter. - We called it a Polaris Apparatus and mentioned how handy it was in our logs. We received emails from others for some time, asking where they could buy one. Quote Link to comment

I think I've accumulated, and have in my glove box, every one of those items. That should just about do it for retrieving most caches. Thanks for the link! Quote Link to comment
