+Fishmandan
Hi all, I am new to the whole geocache thing, just starting out on a few local caches. However I saw one locally so went to check it out last week and after searching for it for over 15 mins I couldn't locate it. So I attempted it today by just remembering its location and hint And a bit of help from a friend we managed to locate it. As I went onto my phone to the location of the cache to mark it as found it wasn't even on the app. Could this be that the owner has removed it or is this a common problem with the app? Any help appreciated Thanks Quote Link to comment

Any help appreciated Thanks Which app are you using? Which platform? It might be disabled temporarily, it might be archived. Or if you're using the GS free intro app, then it's not showing up for a variety of reasons. Is it located in the vicinity of the 2 "series" caches that you've logged as found today? (Kib-Stow Stroll or Glen-Stow) Did your friend find it previously and log it online? If so, they he/she should be able to tell you the GC code if you don't know. Then you can look it up online to see its status. B. Edited November 29, 2015 by Pup Patrol Quote Link to comment

Pup Patrol
It could be this one which was archived a few days ago.. http://coord.info/GC4QHA4 Which reminds me of something... if the OP had posted a "DNF" for the cache in question, it would be easier to figure out. B. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
If the cache listing has been archived, but the container is left in its location, logging a "found it" is legit. If the cache owner hasn't removed the container and the log, and one finds it, I think it's fine to log it as found online. B. Quote Link to comment
