+Criminal
Well, I tried to make simple conversation and was yet again, not shut down. I was simply doing a post about nothing and my topic wasn’t closed. There wasn’t a cache event scheduled for this weekend in Seattle that my son and I weren’t going to, and we still choose not to. I feel I haven’t been disrespected and don't have to look for caches on this site anymore (since caches are hidden in the woods). I remember when I placed a silly joke on this site everyday for over a year and now I can even talk about a measly ol' $30,000 Xterra. Thanks Co Admin, for all the good times, it's been a pleasure and keep up the good work. I will now not list my caches elsewhere, a place where we have never been and we are always welcome I suppose. Keystone
I went to decrease your warn meter, which seemed an appropriately contrarian response, but it is already at zero. Apparently you cannot have a warn level of negative ten percent. Criminal with a zero percent warn meter? How the HECK did that happen? Sorry to ruin your reputation by disclosing that dark secret. +Stunod
I don't know how GC.com can allow a post like this without taking action of some kind. Since KA has proven he can not lower Criminal's warn meter into the negative, I say there is only one option: MAKE CRIMINAL A MOD! Edited January 16, 2004 by Stunod Quote Link to comment

What makes you not think you can't come in here and not act like a jerk to the rest of us? I don't think that's not right! I am not appalled at your non-behavior! Don't let it not happen again! I tried to do something like that with my family to get my nephew a new hand, even for something like that it isn't very successful, but there were some great responses, so don't give up! +Sparrowhawk
Something about this reminds me of a story of some small manufacturer of... can't remember what, a VCR, a scanner, some electronic gizmo of some sort. This would have been in the early-mid-80's, whatever it was. Anyway, the gizmo was one perfectly legal gizmo unless you disabled this one circuit inside, and THEN you had ultra-cool, ultra-extra-functional ILLEGAL gizmo that lots of folks desired! That extra functionality just wasn't kosher with the law. It was a lot of FUN, but definitely not kosher. Anyway this manufacturer made SURE that folks would be as aware as possible to not mess with that one VERY important circuit. They included a warning note with each unit sold. The note said something like: "WARNING: Please do not open this unit, turn it on it's side, and look for this one circuit (as shown in this diagram) and clip the wire as shown, attached to the left side. If you do that, then the unit would become <insert cool functionality here> and cause the unit to become illegal to use or to own. This notice is for your own protection, disregard at your own risk!" Of course the darn thing sold like hotcakes. Edited January 16, 2004 by Sparrowhawk Quote Link to comment
lessenergy
That was a Sony camcorder. It had a nighttime filming feature but people found out that, if used during the day, it made some thin clothing invisible - so the photographer could film what was under the clothes. Quite a story at the time. Les. Quote Link to comment
