+NOSNOW
Within the last two weeks, I have had two coins (TB1WJEP - TB1WJDE) come back to life. Both of which were found on the ground. I am glad that they were found and back to life, but it make me wonder how they ended up on the ground. Quote Link to comment
+ByronForestPreserve
That's fantastic. Strange coincidence, indeed. Maybe they were dropped in the winter snow, which has now melted. (Is the snow gone in Colorado and Minnesota yet?) Quote Link to comment
+fbingha
At least one of them wasn't found on the ground. The person who 'found' your second coin just happened to have logged the cache from which it went missing from on the same day that it was "dropped" on 04/07/2012. +fox-and-the-hound
That's great news! I had a coin found in similar fashion a couple years ago just yards from the cache location. Makes me wonder if people walking off while zipping up their swagbag lost in the shuffle. Quote Link to comment

Coin 1 log = "I was fishing at the zumbro river in mantorville mn and found this laying on the bank. I have no desire to do geocashing I was just doing research on what this was and found that its been missing for a long time. What should I do with this?" Coin 2 log = "I found this coin near a cache on the ground, I will place it." I not sure which one you are talking about not being on the ground. Quote Link to comment

I not sure which one you are talking about not being on the ground. He's talking about this log where the person that just recently "found this coin near a cache on the ground" just so happened to be the last person to visit the other cache just before the coin went missing 2 years ago. Even if you believe in coincidences, that seems unlikely. Quote Link to comment
+sweetlife
that is strang but totally awesome, Congratulations Keep On Caching! Edited May 1, 2014 by sweetlife Quote Link to comment
+ByronForestPreserve
What are the odds, indeed?? I just had two coins I thought were missing have new logs pop up. One had been listed in a cache that was published and immediately archived three years ago (I tried to find it and couldn't) and the other was at the final of a Wherigo for a year. Plenty of found it logs but no mention of the coin until this week on that one. Gives me hope for a few of my other missing ones. Quote Link to comment
