escape-the-rat-race
Hi I am a complete beginner and got my first two caches today. I was delighted to find a trackable geocoin and am really keen to discover where it has been. After doing some research I believe that all coins will have a website and this is where I can discover more about the coin, log my find and then proceed to move it on. I cannot find its website!! Help please. Thanks Wendy Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Go to this link.. Scroll down a little and enter the tracking number that is on the trackable and submit. Watch out for O vs 0, S vs 5, B vs 8 etc. Check out the pinned threads at the top of this and the travel bug forums for a lot more information on how they work. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Hi I am a complete beginner and got my first two caches today. I was delighted to find a trackable geocoin and am really keen to discover where it has been. After doing some research I believe that all coins will have a website and this is where I can discover more about the coin, log my find and then proceed to move it on. I cannot find its website!! Help please. Thanks Wendy Each trackable has a page. You need to log a "retrieved" log for the trackable you removed from the cache. That will remove it from the cache's inventory list and move it to your trackable inventory. On each cache page there is a "trackable inventory" on the right side. This lists the trackables that "should" be in that cache. I'm guessing that the cache where you found the trackable was this one: http://coord.info/GC472RE and that the trackable you retrieved is the one called "World Travel Geocoin". You need to click the link to that trackable, if that is indeed the one you are asking about, and that will take you to the trackable's page where you can log the retrieval.
