+boblin67
I have an Oregon 600T. When I transfer my pocket query from BaseCamp to my Oregon 600T they do not show up in my Geocache Treasure box but do show up in the Waypoint management file. This is also true if I just send one geocache at a time directly from the Geocache site to my Garmin. This only happens when my pocket query/geocache is miles away from my location. The folks at Garmin said that can be the case with the Oregon 600t and should appear in the Geocache Treasure box as I get closer to the geocaches. My question is will all the geocache information be included or just what I see in the Waypoint Management folder?. My Oregon400 doesn't have this problem. The other question is when I plug my garmin into Basecamp to see the files, when I open any one of the GPX files, it is all computer language instead of the geocache code, is this typical for the 600T? +Bear and Ragged
No need for additional software. You can add PQs directly to the GPS. Instructions can be found here > http://www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk/resources/files/paperless_garmin.pdf Yes, there is a distance limit... If caches are over a certain distance from you they wont show, unless your search for a location, eg city, and then search for caches near to the location. Quote Link to comment
