+jerold222
I have a new Garmin 64s, upgrading from a 60 csx. The menus drive me crazy, some things I am finding, but when I mark a point on my topo map, it disappears. it does not show on my map or in recent finds, or waypoints. I love the speed and increased sensitivity but menus and lack of information is making me wonder if I should keep it. Edited March 19, 2015 by jerold222 Quote Link to comment
+JohnCNA
I'm sure the menus have changed quite a bit since the 60 series. I upgraded from a more modern model and found it to be an easier learning curve. Hang in there, you'll get it eventually. The only time I've had a marked waypoint disappear on me was when I hit Map instead of Done. It isn't saved until you hit Done. You also want to check the Map settings for zoom levels. The default setting for geocaches is they won't show on the map until you're zoomed really close. Setting the geocaches zoom level to Auto is a good setting for that. Quote Link to comment
Pacific NW
You can also change the menus to the "classic" style, and turn off the "page ribbon" interface. This helped me a long way in getting used to the 62/64-series. Quote Link to comment

Spent a little time moving my most-used features to the top of the list so I rarely have to scroll the screen. Quote Link to comment
