+MartyBartfast
I've only ever used OpenStreetMaps, and they give me everything I want, I've never felt the need to try any other maps. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Fairly easy solution. Try 'em all... doesn't cost anything. Actually, if in your position, I would buy extra (micro) SD cards, and put your map choice(s) on the cards. Probably won't need large capacity cards for such. Label each, then you can always pick 'n choose -- street; topo; other -- then after use, determine which you type you prefer and do what you want with the others. If not ever to use a particular map, reformat the card and save as a spare. Quote Link to comment
+JohnCNA
Yes, buy an SD card and you can download multiple maps and switch from one to the other in the field. Why? They don't all show the same thing. Sometimes my topo map from gpsfiledepot.com will have preserve roads and trails while the others do not. And sometimes the openstreetmap will be the one with more detail. Quote Link to comment
