adsman34
Receiving a communication error when trying to download a cache to my Garmin ETrex 20. The Garmin Test page indicates that the communicator is working fine & it recognizes my Garmin. Quote Link to comment

adsman34
I found it it was caused by upgrading my safari. So i had to download an old version of Firefox (2014 version). Now it works Quote Link to comment
stantastic
I've got the SAME PROBLEM. I just tried to upload a cache using "Send to my GPS" and got a message that the Garmin Communicator Plug-in was not detected, but the latest version IS installed and it recognizes my device. This is the first time I tried since upgrading to OS X Sierra and the latest version of Safari. It was working fine before the update. Dang :-( Quote Link to comment
Kottbullar
Its not a Safari upgrade issue, it is a OS X upgrade issue. I too have this problem, and don't want to d/l another Browser for this single purpose. hopefully GS will be able to help .... Quote Link to comment
Wacka
This IS NOT a GS issue. Bring it up with Garmin. They haven't upgraded their communicator to be compatible with the latest OS/ browser release. GS just gives you a link the interfaces with the communicator. The fix is on Garmin's end.
