Garmin Montana - Track ID in Map Screen

Recommended Posts

Has anybody figured out a way to display the name of particular tracks in the map screen?

I find it challenging at times to have several tracks up on the screen and trying to figure out which is which. I had thought that the "pin" feature would display its name once you hovered atop the track line, but no go.

Other than sorting through your track library one by one and viewing the map page for each, you have no way of knowing which track is which.

Ideas?

I would make a waypoint with the track name at the beginning of the track or along it and have it show on the map screen.

One thing you can do is to change the color of each track, I guess. That might work as long as you don't have too many of them.
