ak8b
Recently, maybe 10 or so days ago, pocket queries started including the addition of text listing child waypoint data appended to the end of the long description text. It only shows up in GPX files, either by pocket query or from the "GPX" button on a listing so it appears to be something to do with the GPX generation code. This is also causing quite a few caches to be included in pocket queries that specify "Changed in last 7 days". It kind of looks like some sort of debug code was left in the production version. I've checked with a fellow geocacher and he is seeing the same thing. Quote Link to comment
Walts Hunting
An earlier response from the powers says that they are making modifications to provide a better system later. That involves modifying each file so since they were modified they will show up in last 7 days. He said it should be finished in a couple of weeks. So it looks like live with it until then Quote Link to comment
ak8b
Hopefully they'll make it work properly when they're done ... Quote Link to comment
GeoTrekker26
No need to, it's self healing. Quote Link to comment
ak8b
Well, it seems to be mostly done. It's NOT totally self healing. Those caches that don't get included in the PQ after things are reset don't get fixed. Not really a problem though, just an annoyance. This could certainly have been handled better. The method looked like the 'quickest' way rather than the 'right' way. Quote Link to comment
