Edited trackable and the Date Activated year changed from 2001 to 2017

Seems that the Date Activated years only go back to 2002. I had a geocoin set at my geocacaching start date in 2001.

When I edited the trackable page today, the year changed to 2017. The drop down for the year selection only goes back to 2002.

Is this a bug?

Possibly. Trackables did exist in 2001, e.g., TB1.
