grabbing my own missing TB

You should be able to use the tracking code to grab them from an "Unknown Location". As owner the tracking code shows for you on the listing on the right side, above the Actions box. Copy and paste from there, rather than reading the code off the tag. Perhaps you're reading a ZERO 0, as an O (letter o), or some other letter number error (number 1 letter l (L) etc.

If you've been using the tracking code correctly (not the reference code, which starts with TB) then, check the listing itself for the possibility that it's been Locked.

You'll find that on the listing page, in the pull down box: Actions.

There are 3 owner actions,

  •
  • Move to last location,
  • Recalculate Distance, and
  • Lock

If it is locked, then the action available with be Unlock.

You could also try "move to last location", see if that works, then grab it?

If all fails, write to staff about it. Use the Help Center, Email us form

this would be request type 05. Trackables

Hallo,

I have a few missing travellbugs in unkown locations. Now I want to grab them and use it onece again with the coppy-tag.

But it is no more possible to grab it.

Why do I have the copy when I not get it back?

The "Copy" tag is designed to be a souvenir to keep. You may place it anyway. :anicute:

You will need to use the "Tracking Number" shown on the TB page ("Tracking Number: XXXXXX"). Copy that number. You then "Add a Log Entry", "Grab it from somewhere else", paste the Tracking Number into the form, and click "Submit Log Entry".

I looked at some of your missing TBs, and they are not "Locked" (which would prevent logs from occurring). I tried a Grab log on one of my missing tags, and it worked fine. It seems OK now, give it a try. If you still have problems, post the Reference Number or web address of a TB that you can't "Grab".
