Groundspeak.com downloads

Hi all,

 

For some reason Groundspeak.com will not allow us to download caches to our handhelds. We are a paid up premium member with the lasted plug ins. My Map source will recognize our unit but not Groundspeak.com, never had this problem in the past.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Which Browser are you using?

The reason browser is important is that Chnrome recently prohibited the Garmin communicator for being used. You have go to an alternate like IE to download caches.

 

Another question that comes to mind is why aren't you using PQs to load thousands of caches instead of one at a time.

You can re-enable NPAPI support in Chrome for now. It will be permanently removed when Chrome 45 is released later this year.

 

When Windows 10 comes out, the IE replacement in W10 will also prohibit Garmin communicator from being used.

 

With the big guns ending support for NPAPI, it's time for plugin builders to move to the newer and more secure plugin models.

One at a time is fine with me for what I'm doing.

You can't with Chrome as stated above without going in and modifying the advanced settings. Just use internet explorer.

Or just use pocket queries. It's easier in the long run.
