+deLassus
We have a TB decal on both our vehicles and we log it as visiting caches when we are out and about caching. I'm curious what others do thought... Do you visit your TB vehicle decals to all of the caches you find? Do you visit your TB vehicle decals to your own caches when you complete CO maintenance? Do you not do either and just have them to be discovered by others? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
We log those found in parking lots/pull offs. We know some who have patches on packs, or a lucky charm trackable that's dipped into every one. - One uses a trackable for their child, so when older (and if they still want to play...) they have a record of all caches they were present. But curious, if you're not actually driving your vehicle to every cache you find, why would you feel it's "visiting"? Quote Link to comment
+kunarion
Do you visit your TB vehicle decals to all of the caches you find? No, just select ones. Maybe one or two in a new area, if there was a suitable photo opportunity. I post pictures when I log a TB, and my car's no exception. Although the car has a Geocoin inside (the trackable item), it might not visit a cache at the end of a hike. I have a special Trackable item that I photograph at the caches that are far from the parking area. Do you visit your TB vehicle decals to your own caches when you complete CO maintenance? Almost never. Do you not do either and just have them to be discovered by others? Mine has a magnetic sign which may be in view at an Event Cache, but usually it is only discoverable by "Chirp", with no clue to use Chirp. By design, it's not discovered often. +dprovan
We log those found in parking lots/pull offs. I don't have a tagged vehicle, but cerberus1's idea -- caches in parking lots and at trailheads, and park&grabs -- is what would make sense to me if you were going to have the car visit anything. I don't know how much hassle it would be, but I'd be tempted to drop my car in events I was driving to, as well, and then retrieve it after most of the attended logs have been filed. On the other hand, I've seen several vehicle TBs that the owner doesn't visit anywhere. So while I think that's logical, I don't think there's any problem with you pretending your car visited the cache with you even when it's parked a couple miles away. I've never known whimsy to mar a TB log. Quote Link to comment

The Dolphinmobile is logged into any cache where she can see me waving the cache at her. But she does not go hiking with me. Only two cachers have logged her at events. I've logged a few at events, and one on the road. Quote Link to comment
+Wet Pancake Touring Club
My car trackable (shown here) is designed to be logged while on the move. I never dip any of my trackable collection (I have a dozen sewn to my hat) at any caches. If I am interested in mileage info, I download the tracks from my GPS. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
But curious, if you're not actually driving your vehicle to every cache you find, why would you feel it's "visiting"? Not sure about the OP, but in my case, I have the actual TB tag for my vehicle decal on a keyfob that is always in my pack. So whether I drive up to a cache, or hike a kilometer into the bush for a cache, something with the tracking number on it is at the cache site. Text from the trackable page: "You have discovered BlackRose67's GeoMobile & Keychain. Currently a 2013 GMC Terrain & Chevrolet HHR Keyfob." Quote Link to comment
