jimis2001
I had a great idea for a puzzle cache but where I live it won't be much popular. So I am planning to make it a virtual cache where the website is the cache. Is this possible? Quote Link to comment
Keystone
No. All caches need a physical container and a logbook, except for earthcaches (geology lesson) and event caches (gathering of geocachers). Geocaching.com stopped publishing new virtual caches in 2005. Quote Link to comment
+CanadianRockies
So I am planning to make it a virtual cache where the website is the cache. Is this possible? Maybe. It was possible to do this when Groundspeak allowed premium members to create a Lab Cache. But who knows if/when that will happen again. Edited July 22, 2015 by CanadianRockies Quote Link to comment
+niraD
I had a great idea for a puzzle cache but where I live it won't be much popular. There are a lot of puzzle caches around here, but they still don't get as many finds as traditional caches. But don't let that stop you. If it's a great idea for a puzzle cache, then go ahead and create it. Those who are interested in it will enjoy it. The rest will ignore it. That's okay. What kind of website did you have in mind, and why do you think it would make a virtual cache if I may ask? Quote Link to comment
