+andy_deployed
I will be visiting Beale AFB and wanted to know what I should focus on from a caching perspective. I will be there for 3-weeks and this will be my first California find. Any hints or suggestions would be great. I noticed many of caches near the base have not been found in a long time. Thanks in advance! Andy Edited March 19, 2014 by andy_deployed Quote Link to comment
+steben6
WE LOVE caching around Beale! We stay there for a month every year in the Beale FamCamp RV Park just so we can go caching. There are tons and tons of caches there. Many of them are puzzles or challenges, but a lot of traditional ones, as well. retiredprof is one prolific hider who lives in the area and he hosts a monthly meet and greet caching event. He has tons of great hides...check his profile! If you get the chance, we recommend you go to the event and meet some of the awesome cachers from the area. Caches around the area cover the whole range from city/urban hides to nice hiking ones in the hills. You will definitely not run out of caches to find. Quote Link to comment
