+TashaK2017 Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 I picked up a laminated card that had the following info "This is a proxy card for a Geocoin. Please keep me moving! Coin's origin is Tacoma, WA.USA". On the other side was "1000 Finds Geocoin ######. Please treat this as you would any trackable" with pictures of the front and back of the coin. When I attempted to log this, I received the message that the ###### was not correct. Then a second message asking to activate the coin. So far I have done nothing - do I activate it?? and why has it not been activated by the original owner?? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1 Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Maybe an error on your end with O (oh) and 0 (zero),I and 1, etc ? Possible the system may have a number similar, that (for now) hasn't been activated and it's asking you to, or yeah, the TO might have forgotten to activate it. Quote Link to comment

Possible that someone else had the same issues as you and dumped it in to forget about it. You could do the same... - Guess it depends on how far you're willing to spend time on another's side game.
