Help - Need Mapsource Topo 3D US 1.30 patch

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I need the Mapsend Topo 3D US 1.30 patch to update my Topo 3D 1.0 for use with my Explorist. I can't find it on Magellans site any longer. Any one have it stored on their PC that can send it to me or provide me with a link to download it? Thanks!

If someone has it, could you send it to me as well? For some reason I don't even get the 3D or topo buttons on my toolbar! It's MapSend TOPO 3D, and yet I can't get any topo anything right now because the buttons are missing!

I didn't know there was a Mapsend Topo Patch 1.30. The only mapsend patch I recall being 1.30 is the Worldwide Basemap patch.

per the manual it says v1.03 patch needed for correct conversion of files for explorist. Version 1.0 converts to mgi files and the explorsit needs ini or img files

I actually use Topo 3d 1.00 and I have never seen the 1.03 mapsend patch for topo. Just the mapsend patch for the worldwide basemap. I would call magellan and ask them about it. Not sure what patch they are talking about in the manual. Mine is only running 1.00 and I have the 3D icon display. This site has some detal on versions and patches and 1.03 is not listed.

Then if my Topo 3D 1.0 is compatible how do i convert these files? Or do I not need to convert them?

Do you just use mapsend Topo 3D and then download to SD card, or do you use magellan conversion manager?

The conversion manager is the program that says I need a different file format than the .mgi file that the mapsend topo makes.

You don't happen to still have the patch? I've been looking all over the internet to try to find it for my MapSend Worldwide Basemap software on Windows XP for my SporTrak Pro GPS.
