+ColP52
Hi Everyone, Since the latest software update on my Etrex 20 (in December 2013) the download to Garmin Connect only shows the activity distance as 0.01kms, so I have to update the distance manually for each downloaded activity. This occurs in both Bike and Walking profiles. Downloads from my Forerunner 310 work perfectly on Garmin Connect; and the downloads to Basecamp are also okay from both my Forerunner and Etrex 20. Does anyone have the same problem, and/or a solution. Cheers, Col. Quote Link to comment
+zannieandjazzy
Latest software update is 4.10, released in Oct 14. I'd try updating first. Note Connect has an issue at the moment and isn't displaying certain data, including mileage, for newly imported tracks. Garmin are aware and a fix is expected shortly. We have a new Etrex 20, which I'm assuming has the latest software version. I've been getting frustrated this weekend trying to work out how to download how far we've walked (partly to prove to J that a certain shortcut wasn't one!). Once whatever fix you say is expected, how do we do it? The manual is a bit rubbish, including the one in the device itself. I want to download the blue lines, if that makes sense to either of you. I have the latest software, so maybe it's a problem with Connect. Now I can't sync my Forerunner 310 through Express, but can view my activities on Basecamp. I'll try syncing again later. +Mineral2
It's an issue with Connect, not your GPS or Basecamp. Weird that it has taken them this long to still not fix it. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
I noticed that the distance didn't transfer from two tracks I had in December before Christmas, in addition to today's track. I'm suspicious that the problem has been ongoing longer. Quote Link to comment
