+uxorious
I just loaded OpenStreetMap into my 62s. Now I would like to know how to use it to get a route to the caches. On my 60CSx when I would hit go on a cache it would give me the option of going straight to the cache or to follow the road. I don't see that option on the 62s. Couldn't find it in the manual, any one know? The map I downloaded did say routable. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
Yes, it is the same as a 60csx. You select the setting in the setup menu, On-road, off road or prompt. Quote Link to comment
+uxorious
OK, never mind I went out and played with it for a few minutes in the yard and figured out how to do it. Quote Link to comment
+uxorious
Yes, it is the same as a 60csx. You select the setting in the setup menu, On-road, off road or prompt. On the 60CSx it always gave me a choice of on-road, off road, when I would hit go and before it would load the cache. Maybe I missed something, but the way I got this to work was, after selecting a cache and hitting go, it loads the cache, I then hit "find" again. It then gives the choice of "find another" "stop navigation" or "change route activity". I selected "change route activity" then selected "automobile driving". That gave me a route. Edited to say, I reread your answer and found where I could set it up to prompt. Thank you. Edited January 10, 2015 by uxorious Quote Link to comment
