+Chief301
OK, I've searched but I can't seem to find an answer to this one...I received a Garmin Nuvi 65LM as a Christmas gift. I have been able to load waypoints to the device by opening a PQ in GSAK, then running them through POI loader the device. The caches show up on the Nuvi under Custom POI's, and all the paperless info is there. However, I had assumed that I would also be able to see the Geocache icons on the map. I think I should also be able to set up the Nuvi to alert me when there are caches nearby., or at least I recall having read something along those lines. So, am I missing a step here? alandb
Are you using the Nuvi_GPX_by_CT GSAC macro? If so, it should load the icons and alerts when it launches POI Loader. There are options in the macro to select the alert and specify the alert distance. Display of the icons on the nuvi depends on the nuvi model ... some do some don't. It can also depend on the nuvi's map detail preference and zoom level. The alerts should work; Quote Link to comment
