+atate75
We found our first cache with our new Oregon 600. I logged the cache via the Oregon 600 while we were there. How do I get that log to show up on Geocaching.com? Also, after I load a PQ do I need to switch from one to the other or do all of the caches show up when I arrive at that particular area? I don't see anything in the menu of the 600 that shows PQs. Quote Link to comment
+Panther&Pine
The GPS doesn't have in the field logging capability. Your GPS will hold plenty of PQs, you don't need to switch between them. Quote Link to comment

You logged a field note into your Oregon. Now you need to upload that field note to geocaching.com: http://www.geocaching.com/my/fieldnotes.aspx Use the link supplied, or find it on your (private) Profile Page, right side towards the bottom of the page. +BikeBill
If you don't want to log field notes, the 600 will automatically record each cache that you've marked 'found' on it's calendar and you can check that when you get home. Quote Link to comment

Great. Thanks. I just got it and I am having to learn to use it. I used an old yellow etrex when I started. This is a big upgrade for me. Quote Link to comment

(annual 30$) Those two things can really help you get the most out of that unit. Quote Link to comment
