You can visit my website where I've documented every known souvenir, including any upcoming ones that have been announced. I'll generally add newly-announced souvenirs within a day of the announcement. The site currently only summarizes the next 10 on the main page (all others are listed under the relevant sections, BTW), but I think I might create a page that lists all upcoming souvenirs. Look for this within the next couple of days. Quote Link to comment

+NYPaddleCacher
Still No Bahamas Souvenir And we probably won't see one for awhile. When the last batch of souvenirs was released someone from GS wrote that they hoped to release souvenirs for all countries. For countries which already have them it's mostly been based upon the number of caches in the country. The Bahamas is pretty far down the list. According to project GC there are only 102 caches in the countries. Some of the more likely candidates for countries that do not yet have a souvenir include Romania, Estonia, Israel, Turkey, and China. Quote Link to comment

Since they explicitly stated the Mega and Giga options and not CITO, I have to assume that CITO will not count for the "Meet Your Road Trip Crew" souvenir. This is only an assumption, though. Are there any Lackeys reading this who can give us a definitive confirmation? Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
Does anyone else find it a bit strange that Groundspeak has put a hold on Challenge caches but the Road Trip 2015 is like doing a challenge ?? Not really. They're different animals. One is created by Groundspeak, is verified automatically by the website, and results in an image being added to a dedicated section of your profile. The other is created by a cacher, is verified for completion through various non-automatic means, and counts as a find. Quote Link to comment

Megas and Gigas are also events, but those were explicitly listed. If they had only said "Attend an Event", it would leave some ambiguity. Since they listed some, but not all, of the various event types, I'm pretty sure CITO was omitted on purpose. It's further reinforced by the inclusion of CITOs under one of the other souvenirs. Get a CO to setup a fake T5 or D5 so their friends can get the souvenirs. Or...set up a real D5 and only tell their close friends where to find it so they can get the souvenirs. Or setup a fake account to they can get the souvenirs. The same could be said for any souvenir. Armchair caching can get you a find any cache you want (event, earthcache, or ordinary cache), as long as the cache owner doesn't have a reason to suspect that you're faking the find, or the cache owner is inactive. Eleven geocachers can team up to create a LPC and give it ten favorite points. Liars caches have been long accepted as part of the game, and often have deliberately misleading D/T ratings as part of the "lie". And so on. It's a game of honor. Play the game the way you want. Or setup a fake account to they can get the souvenirs. It's easy enough to fake souvenirs. Just log a find on the cache of your choice, snag the souvenir, and then delete your find. That's what the top souvenir collector in the US has apparently done, as many of his souvenirs do not correspond with his finds. Which is ironic, because he used to make a hobby of calling out armchair loggers on the old virtual cache at Fort Jefferson. Geocaching is pretty much played on the honor code. Some honor the code, and some don't. Edited June 20, 2015 by hzoi Quote Link to comment
+Ben0w
BTW: favourite points are clearly overrated. Not intentended (*), but I've got my souvenir from a 16 FP cache, which really is a PET preform sticked (AKA buried) in the ground, in open view beside a busy road, camouflage broken off. It is part of a power trail which may explain the load of FP this and other caches of the series get. To the positive, the trail provides some nice landscape views, is preferably done by bicycle and the owner takes care of it. The caches still are micros and nanos stuck in the ground, in bushes nearby power transformators, behind guard rails and in traffic signs - nothing special (CO has a home business selling caching equipment and this power trail is used to show what he has to sell: preforms, nanos, fake stones, fake screws, logbooks, ...). So, my point: FP tells you not much about quality of a cache, just a bit more about the frequency it is found. I wonder why that's worth a souvenir. However, I just think that those road trip 2015 souvenirs are thought encouraging geocachers to use the new designed search function. And a lot will do anything they could just to get the souvenir on their profile page, even if it involves cheating. *shrug* Can't wait to get the newsletter about new souvenirs for using the new message center. (*) happens to be on the way to a cache I considered cool. Quote Link to comment

What is your country that would like to see in near future? For instance I am thinking about Turkey and Ukraine. Cheers! The story regarding country based souvenirs has changed a few times. At one point we were told that there would be no new country based souvenirs but then we got a bunch more and a lackey indicated that they'd like to have a country (or regions within a country) souvenir for all countries/territories on their official countries list. It's been awhile since we last say any new country based souvenirs and they may have some of the server load issues ironed out because the last batch went pretty well. If I recall, we saw 1-2 new souvenirs every couple of days with the last batch so as long as they pace them out the server load might not be an issue. It's anyones guess however, when (or even if) they'll start releasing more country based souvenirs but if I had to guess, Turkey would be high on the list for new country based souvenirs. A few others that we might see are Romania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Israel. If they add Puerto Rico, China, and Taiwan that would cover every country with 1000 or more active caches. Ukraine only has about 500 caches so it would probably be awhile before we'll see on for that country. Quote Link to comment
