+Mallory Square
I just purchased a Windows 8.1 tablet and I want to run "Geocaching" on it. None of the download choices seem to work. Quote Link to comment
+StefandD
Geocaching has no app for Windows 8.1. Maybe the Windows Phone app will work in Windows 10, which will be released on July 29. But I wouldn't count on it. Alternative: go to the Store, search for 'geocaching' and you will find some apps. Only 3 are real geocaching apps and none of them seem to be good in quality. +Viajero Perdido
Even if you can't find an "app" that'll work, you could always do it the old-skool way: by using the website in the tablet's browser. ...except the website doesn't feature an arrow that points to the cache, of course. +baloo&bd
If you have a tablet that allows for downloads from other sources, try GSAK to maintain offline databases. Edited July 4, 2015 by baloo&bd Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
If you have a tablet that allows for downloads from other sources, try GSAK to maintain offline databases. I use GSAK on the laptop and copy the database(s) to GDAK on the tablet, which also allows me to download caches from the web for spur of the moment caching away from my stored caches. The tablet doesn't have the best GPS chipset I've seen, but I always have the GPSr that I can enter numbers to. Quote Link to comment

As for the TS, I would certainly look into GSAK (I know it allows for locationsettng by GPS so it might be OK for caching). Quote Link to comment
