Denver Airport Caches

Long story short, looking like I might have to spend a night after the Christmas holidays at the Denver airport to catch my flight back to Amsterdam (so early January). Couldn't help but notice WOW, there are a lot of caches there!

So first question from me, how many of those are actually winter friendly? Is it worth renting a car for the afternoon to snag some?

Thanks!

'Winter Friendly' is pretty subjective in Colorado. In December, you may be looking at no snow around DIA, or a few feet. You never know.

It could be +65F degrees (that's 18C) and sunny...or it could be -20F (-28C) and snowing so hard you can't see past the hood of your rental car. And out on those backroads is nowhere near where you want to be if it is really coming down.

The average temperature in Denver in December and January is +47F (+8C). You might just have to plan your adventure at the last moment.
