Anyone using the Garmin nuvi 3598LMT-D for caches?

Looking at a new satnav, be interested to hear how the Garmin nuvi 3598LMT-D performs for loading several large pocket queries in via GSAK, and what the unit is like to use with them.

Also does anyone know of a youtube video I can see them on screen? Been searching without success.

You can, but they are not designed to be used in this way, so the software is not at all good for it. They work well for driving.

I've loaded close to 2000 caches as POIs with the GSAK macro Nuvi_GPX_v2.

I put them on a microSD card that I insert into my 2595LMT.

 

Works great for navigating to roadside caches, or near caches you need to get out and hike to, etc.

Yes this is exactly what I want to do. I put a PQ in of my route and if we can, pick up a few on the way. I use a GPSMAP 62S for actually finding the cache.
