Map of Finds (including archived finds)

I would like to generate a map of all of my cache finds.

I know how to create a GPX of all of my finds (from the Pocket Query page), and I've done that ... but I can't seem to find any way to turn that into a visual map, even with the various offsite tools I know about.

(The application: there's a challenge cache locally that requires you to have X number of finds in specific county parks ... the easiest way for me to figure out if I qualify is probably to generate a map of all my finds in the county, and then manually check over the map to grab the finds in the designated parks.)

Help?

Hi Team Hugs,

there are a lot of solutions to do that.

Try GSAK, if you have this tool.

Have a look at google, where there are a lot of offline mapping tools.

I've programmed a small tool on my website:

http://www.thomas-kuehn.de/geocaching/eigene.php

Its in German, but easy to use. Click on the first button "Durchsuchen". It opens a dialog to search your pc for the gpx file.

After this, click on the next button to create the map and a list of your finds.

Easy.

In GSAK install the macro Map Nearest

Make a PQ "my finds" (can only be run every 3 days)

Download from the website.

In windows explorer "drag" the file onto GSAK and in the settingsbox that automatically opens, select the database you want the founds to be in.

When you select the database with your founds, Choose "map nearest V3" from the "Split screen format" dropdown (next to the Name search box).

Done...

Right clicking on the map will allow you to change settings of this macro.

BTW, to show all your finds you'll have to adjust the settings as there is a default limit set to allow for faster execution f the macro.
