+colleda
In March we will be visiting Mexico. We know our itenerary but we don't know what routes we will be travelling along and/or if there will be an opportunity to grab a cache. So, how can I do a PQ (or 2) to cover all of Mexico? We use GSAK and Garmin Etrex 20s. Quote Link to comment
+CacheMule
In March we will be visiting Mexico. We use GSAK and Garmin Etrex 20s. When I was in Mexico (Riveria Maya), There was little to no GPS reception on my Garmin Dakota 10. I'm assuming this is because there is no WAAS there. I was lucky if I got 3 or 4 satellites. Also many of the GCs I located on a map where located in the center of these urban dwellings where you'd see groups of about 20 people standing around looking dangerous. I'd hate to do a urban geocache there, you must use ultra stealth! Good Luck. -CacheMule Edited January 29, 2015 by CacheMule Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Project-gc returns all 2393 of them to be load as desired. Just Use the map compare tool. Strange comment on waas since the FAA extended it to Canada and Mexico in 2007. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Re Pocket Query, Mexico is divided into states. To see those states, do Hide and Seek search of Mexico. On that page, the list of states. It's pretty long. https://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?country_id=228 If I were trying to pull PQs, I'd go to my PQ page, and select 5 states at time (hold down control as you roll down the states list and highlight) Create several queries for the whole country Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
I hate to repeat myself but Project-GC does all of Mexico in one query that you can put in a gpx file and load. Much simpler than selecting a few counties and then making multiple PQs. While I am a paid member over there I am pretty sure that that is part of basic free service. It does have a 10,000 limit per query but Mexico only returned 2393. Quote Link to comment
+colleda
Thanks for the replies. I'm not familiar with Project GC but I don't mind doing the multiple PQs, I can follow that. I'll try it out. Quote Link to comment
+colleda
OK its sorted now. I used the list of states and managed to get all in 3 PQs. Thanks again. Quote Link to comment

As a free member over there, I just tried it and couldn't see anywhere to export the results. It must be a paid feature. Quote Link to comment
