Pocket Query Ran but no download

It sounds like you created the PQ, but you didn't actually run it. There are three basic steps to using PQs:

  1. Create the PQ - this defines the criteria for the caches you're interested in
  2. Run the PQ - this uses the defined criteria to save a copy of cache data on the server
  3. Download the PQ - this transfers the data from the server to your device

A lot of people miss the "Run the PQ" step, but you can't download anything until you run the PQ. Generally this is done by selecting a day of the week to run the PQ.

I have a few PQs that I run every day (e.g., solved unfound puzzles). This way, I can always download the PQ and have fresh data from when the PQ ran less than a day ago.

I have a lot of PQs that I run only occasionally (e.g., caches near certain vacation destinations). For these, I select today's day, and then then they run right then so I can can download the PQ and have fresh data when I need it.

Here's a good reference for the PQ process:

I plan to show my step son geocaching so I set up a new pocket query and it shows it ran this morning but still have nothing to download? Is there something I am missing?

If it did really "run," be sure you don't have conflicting criteria, e.g. a cache can't be both Found and Unfound by you. Selecting both "That I found" and "That I haven't found" does not give you all the caches; it gives you none. Before you set a day to run, you can view the results to be sure you will get the caches you want.
