7 Souvenirs of August

Is there something special you have to do to claim the 7 Souvenirs of August? I have logged several different cache types this month and have not seen the souvenirs pop up. I did the first MissionGC souvenir and it popped up with no issues.

You would need a time machine in order to travel back to 2014 when the "7 Souvenirs of August" was the souvenir promotion.

Hah. I saw posts around talking about it and just picked up a trackable that says it is trying complete it.

Guess i need to add a wayback machine to my cache bag.

No problem. Made me check out when the "7 Souvenirs of August" was the souvenir promotion.

 

Last year's was "Road Trip". Another year's was "31 Days of August".

 

This year's is a very slimmed down version. Only 3 special "Mission" souvenirs to be gained.

 

Next weekend is the next "Mission" opportunity (August 13 and 14).

Hah. I saw posts around talking about it and just picked up a trackable that says it is trying complete it.

 

That's a weird trackable mission. The trackable isn't going to have souvenirs awarded to it.

 

And the trackable wasn't even released until after the promotion was finished.

I did finish the first mission gc and am ready for next weekend.
