Hi every one.. I am really a litle pissed at the moment. I put my new geocoin ( in april) in a TB hotel ( premium members only) and in april someone took it, I still can see at his page he has it, but he doesn't moving it on.. I tried everything, but he does not react on my messages.

So now I placed the log missed.. Stupid it is.. Because it isn't missed, but that guy keeps it with him :(:(

grrrr@&(@&@$(&$(&$&)

There isn't anything I can do, is it?

Thanx

They have found no caches since retrieving the Geocoin.

Marking it as 'Missing' removes it from their Inventory... More reason for them to 'forget it' and not drop it in a cache.

Shouldn't post the tracking number in your photos... It invites 'Discover' logs.

Not really.

If you're positive of who took it (they admitted to it), you could rename your coin, "In the pocket of -----" , but sorta doubt they'd care. :)

Whadaya know, a pmo no less...

Been trying to explain to folks that pmo really doesn't mean that much these days.

Hafta agree with Bear and Ragged, marking it missing (to some) means that you've kinda forgotten about it, and it's now okay to add it to a "collection".

At least you have an idea about where it is and someday the person who has it might find a cache again and drop it off. Almost every trackable I have ever released has ended up missing - so at some point I stopped releasing them with any expectation and then I simply stopped doing that. But every once in a while, I hear reports of coins that suddenly reappear in circulation. So there was s still a chance it's simply in the person's drawer or backpack and that sooner or later it will be noticed and moved.
