+M and M Lovers
I recently got an error message that downloading caches from geocaching.com to an Oregon 300 is no longer supported by the browser and my GPS. I can't find a way to download caches to my GPS in another format. Does anyone have any ideas about what I could use? Thanks, M and M Lovers Turlock, CA Quote Link to comment
+geodarts
It assume you are using the communicator plugin. There are several threads about that, but since I don't use it, I will leave it to others or what has been written already. The communicator places a .gpx file in the Garmin/gpx folder of your unit. You can do the same thing by saving the gpx file (either from an individual cache through the gpx button on a page or a pocket query) and copying it over to that folder on your gpsr or its sd card. You could also use third party cache managers that would do the same thing. Edited August 16, 2016 by geodarts Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Actually it has "no longer supported that" for years because of security issues. Have you looked into Pocket Query's to load a bunch at one time with drag and drop, Quote Link to comment
+SantaJohn
hello, if you have not found your answer to this you can go up to my question and find out how I did it for the Oregon 650T. I was having a heck of a time getting it into my GPS but now I have it. It is listed under "I am new at this" by SantaJohn Hope this helps Quote Link to comment
