TomRTR
Hi, I'm looking into the possibility of how Caching could be used to encourage people to visit heritage site, and wild spaces in Tees Valley, and also to tell stories about heritage. Only thing is, I know next to nothing about caching or the etiquette around it. Are there any active cachers in the Tees Valley who'd be interested in a having a chat over a brew or even helping out on a project? Regards Tom Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
It would appear that there is a very active geocaching scene in the Tees Valley area. I just searched for geocaches around Stockton-on-Tees and found that there are a number of upcoming events around the area, as well as many caches in the area. I recommend you use the geocache search here to find geocaches in your area. As geocaches are normally placed by those who live in the area, you can contact the cache owners through their profiles and get in touch that way. There also may be one or more geocaching groups in the immediate area. Have a look through this forum thread to see which one(s) fit the bill. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
You will reach a wider audience on Facebook, try asking in this group https://www.facebook.com/groups/munkeh/ which is for Geocaching in the North East, so you're immediately addressing those cachers in your region.
