+wheatchief
I am a premium member and have been for a few years now. I often geocache on my own but we like to get out as a family too. Recently I am finding the experience a little disappointing because my children like to track their caches. In our area we have alot of premium caches but I have just found out they can't log caches over 1.5 rating. This is very frustrating. My question is. Is there a way my children can log the caches without paying for premium or is there a family offer for premium. Thanks in advance for your replies . Quote Link to comment
+StefandD
Go to Geocachingadmin.com and put the GC code of the cache in the GC code field then click the button next to it, "Log". Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
You can log regular (non-PMO) caches over 1.5 by logging from the website or using a different app than the "official" one. Premium Member Only caches - that the CO sets as PMO - can be logged by the website referenced above. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
The logging page of a cache is accessed via this link https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?wp=GCCODE What Geocachingadmin.com is doing is putting the GC Code you enter into that URL. You can do it yourself. You can also log onto the logging page, log off, have child log on, and *maybe* they will still be on that logging page, now able to log. This used to be reliable, but these days, any kind of log off / log on tends to send you to Search. Quote Link to comment
