R0ck5
Finally i have narrow down to two - Delorme PN-60 and Oregon 600. Seem like both have a good features. I visited field stream store today and they don't have handheld GPS. A salesperson said maybe Dick's sporting good store or Best Buy. Later I will stop by. I hope they have demo that I can test and play with it before I buy. I don't want to get stuck if I don't like it. I am sure most of stores policy if buy electronics, will not give you money back. They probably stock Garmin hand held GPS but not sure about Delorme. I will contact Delorme and see if they have a list of dealer in my home town. Wondering where do you buy Delorme? Thanks! +cerberus1
I'm not sure I'd invest in delorme after being bought-up by garmin a coupla months ago. IIRC, they were more interested in the inreach, and other satellite applications. Quote Link to comment

Thanks! bass pro has a ton on the shelf. you can use your smartphone to find one, navigate to it, and compare to the standalone, right there in the store. Quote Link to comment
+Team Taran
I use a DeLorme 60. The ability to have multiple files of caches on the unit is helpful and the mapping software chat comes with it is quite good. It is being discounted now but support may be iffy. Quote Link to comment
+ChileHead
I have the 600 and a PN40. I like the interface better on the Delorme better, but that's a personnel preference. I did like the multiple file support, but like the unlimited geocache support on the Garmin better. Try both, buy on price and usability preference. I wouldn't worry about support, as you will be unlikely to need it on either. Quote Link to comment
