+daveofwelly
Hi, I am new to caching and have been trying to setup my Garmin Colorado 300 unit. I recently did a couple of updates on the unit itself and they work fine, I then also updated my Garmin Communicator plug in. since doing that, It wont allow me to send the caches from geocaching.com to my gps anymore.. any ideas? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Atlas Cached
Garmin Communicator is no longer usable on most browsers due to security issues. You can select save as GPX and then navigate to the Garmin\GPX\ directory on your Colorado 300 to save each GPX. Best option is to create Pocket Queries and load an entire set of geocaches in one GPX file. Quote Link to comment

+Red90
It is probably a browser related problem. Try using Internet Explorer. Also make sure the GPS is connected in "mass storage" mode. It should show up as a drive on the computer. Quote Link to comment
+HHL
Use Firefox. Download the signed version of Garmin's Communicator from Mozilla's site. Hans Edited May 9, 2016 by HHL Quote Link to comment

Hans I have tried this using Firefox and couldn't get it to work. I'm assuming that it is my lack of knowledge that is standing in the way. I will retry it. I'm really getting frustrated and desperate and have cancelled my caching day because I simply can't download any caches. Thank you for your reply. Quote Link to comment
+HHL
Do not download it from the Garmin site. Download the plug-in from Mozilla's site. Hans Quote Link to comment
