Introducing myself and a little question

Hi folks just wanted to say hello to everyone I’m Joe and I’m from Cambridge England, I’ve only been doing geocaching for a week now and have 5 finds under my belt so far.

This leads me to my question about finds if a cache is tied to a tree that requires some climbing, if you can see the micro cache and you can only just touch it but not able to undo the screw cap with one hand while clinging to the tree with the other hand, does this still count as a find?

Took me ages to actually find it and once I had I tried hard to climb high enough to get it but just could quite make it which was disappointing.

In Geocaching 101, in "How is the game played...

"At its simplest level, geocaching requires these 8 steps:

5.Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your GPS Device.

Ratings on the cache page should have shown it wasn't just another 1.5/1.5 on a park trail.

That one simply takes a bit more to access.

Realize that the CO can delete your online log if the cache log's not signed.

Most we know only check their higher terrain hides.

Nope. Sign the log, log it online. That's part of the cache, getting in the hard to reach places, up trees, on mountains, the bottom of the ocean, the space station.

I'm pretty sure you can, by editing your log. But if you can't you could always delete the log.

Thanks again ive now edited the log saying I that didnt find it
