Help -- Route Calculation area

I am still new and learning how to use handheld. Earlier today I downloaded six caching on my Garmin Oregon 600. Click>geocaches> select one we want to go then click GO. but it came up Route Calculation Error: Maps do not have routable roads in this area? I kept trying few times and same result. Plan to go out today but I am stuck with this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Silly question, but do you have maps on your Oregon?

And in the settings somewhere you should be able to switch it from routable to recreation or even Geocaching

I think I solved the problem. After I played with the new toy, I changed profile from recreation to Geocaching. I noticed "desk top" changed format. Then I clicked a "treasure" box, menu came up a list that I downloaded from Geocaching. Next step selected title, then press GO. I think that is how it works. Tomorrow hopefully the weather permits, will try again.
