+Lusatho
If you own a Cache you get info Messages if somebody found or did not find your Cache, left a message or something else. But if you own a TB you get no info message. Is this an error or works it correctly? As owner I also have no possibility to "watch" my own TB, because I cannot find this functionality to activate. Has someone an idea what I can do to see what is going on with my own TBs? Thanks for Support! Quote Link to comment
Keystone
The last activity on your one trackable that would have generated a notice was on November 17, 2013. Since that date, when your trackable was "retrieved," one geocacher has had your trackable in their possession. They are logging it in and out of caches using the "Visited" log type. Visits do not generate notifications to the owner of the trackable. Retrievals, drops and discoveries do. Quote Link to comment

If the TB Visits (Took It To) you don't get an email. Not sure about Discovered logs. Do get emails, answered by Keystone, who is quicker at typing! ) Edited October 16, 2014 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Not sure about Discovered logs. Yes, you do get emails when people log "discovered" on your trackable. Whether those people actually saw the trackable or are just using a list of codes, who knows. B. Quote Link to comment
+Lusatho
Thank you very much to all for your quick answers. No I see everything is working fine and I will only be informed if my TB is been retrieved/grabbed/dropped! Info to moderator: you can close the Topic if this is possible! Thanks to all for your support! Quote Link to comment
+Twentse Mug
Something I don't understand. Why are there no notifications when a 'took it to log" is made, but why are there are notifications when a took it to log is deleted? Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
Something I don't understand. Why are there no notifications when a 'took it to log" is made, but why are there are notifications when a took it to log is deleted? When the Visit ('took it to') feature was first introduced by Groundspeak a few years ago there were email notifications for visits... for the first two or three weeks. Then (IIRC) they realised what a lot of cachers were using the visit option to dip trackables into all found caches and it was generating a huge number of extra email notifications daily. It was putting a strain on the system (the hamsters were expiring) and they decided to stop those particular notification emails. I imagine that 'deleted log' notifications still go out because there are routinely far fewer of those. MrsB Quote Link to comment

As a TB owner, I think not getting visit log notifications is a great feature, since visit logs are very frequent and always empty (even in the rare case where the person edits the visit log to add a comment after it's posted). +The Blorenges
This is when the notifications got too much for the hamsters... (but they haven't come back yet, for which I'm thankful!) MrsB Quote Link to comment
