+prospectb2b
It was my first full day out and I HAD A BLAST!! I noticed when I read hints, descriptions and other comments that there is a lot of Geo Lingo. I finally figured out what muggle and stealth meant but there are other things, especially abbreviations, that I haven't figures out yet. One of which is GZ?? just as an example. Can anyone help me? +Chief301
GZ=Ground Zero....basically the general area where your GPS (or app) has led you. You have arrived at the location of the cache when the distance has counted down close to zero. Don't expect it to necessarily read zero....once you get within about 10 feet or so you have essentially arrived at Ground Zero. Put the machine away and start looking for the cache. +K13
I tell people that GZ is the 'Grab Zone', it's that area where your GPS device gets close to zero..... I tend to speak in words rather than abbreviations, so I don't use the abbreviations when logging. Quote Link to comment
