+thebrew4
I am using the Geocahing App from Groundspeak. Can anyone suggest a good app for entering Lon & Lat? I have read a couple where the cords have been changed and don't think there is a way to enter them on the app. Quote Link to comment
+Chrysalides
This is for Android. I'm not sure if other OS uses the exact same steps. 1. Select geocache. 2. Tap on "Navigate" 3. On Navigate screen, select Map 4. Tap on the 3 vertical squares on upper right corner (not the three stacked, overlapping squares, which is "map layers", but the 3 tiny squares to the right of it) 5. Select "Add Waypoints", enter coordinates, tap "+ Add" 6. Back on the map screen, tap on the new waypoint you just added (should show up as a flag). +Roman!
Alternatevly if you go to the website and update the cache with the new coordinates when you go to the app and navigate to the cache you will see the orange flag as a waypoint. When you click it it'll say corrected coordinates and you select to navigate there. Edited April 18, 2014 by Roman! Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Yes, you can add a waypoint using Groundspeak's Geocaching app. See this Help Center article: How do I create an Additional Waypoint? With that said, I use Neongeo on my Android phone. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I can't tell which type of phone the OP is using, so I'm moving this thread to the general "GPS and Technology" forum rather than to the iPhone or Android App forums. Quote Link to comment
