Photo Competition - October 2014

Recommended Posts

On a recent geocaching trip we walked up Mam Tor in Derbyshire by the old road that has been closed for a long time due to land slippage. In the distance, way below us, we could just see the line of cars that were parked - one of which was ours - and I thought that would be a great theme if ever we won the photo competition. So this month's title is

"Hey, I can see my house (car, bike, boat etc) from here!"

Basically post a photo showing just how far we go to get those caches.

General rules are:

1) The photo must be cache related and to do with a specific cache in the UK - please include a link to the cache or the GC code so we can see where the picture relates to.

2) Maximum of two photos per caching team or cacher

3) The winner each month is decided by the winner from the previous month - the new winner starting the thread for the subsequent month. They may set a theme if they wish.

That's it - now it's over to you.

Many thanks to the people that entered, they are all worthy winners (and if I ever win again, I will chose an easier subject).

My favourite photo is the view posted by Ranger_Roo. It is a lovely photo and reminds me of the times when we are out caching and I can see just how far I have to walk back to my car!

So it is over to you for November's competition!

Sat at a cache site today and could spot my car in the distance - it is the little lone speck in the small car park (the one the road is heading to) on the middle right of the picture!! 46e7c8f9-f26f-4ff6-aa74-a8e6d73cc8f2.jpg?rnd=0.02912104
