+coman123
Is there a way to take a pocket queries in a .GPX file and read it in excel, so I can keep a spread sheet of all my finds? Or convert .GPx to XLS Thanks Quote Link to comment
sdarken
If you open the .gpx file in GSAK you can export as a .csv file ( File / Export / As .txt .csv). You could then open that .csv file via Excel. I haven't tried this myself so I'm not sure what it would actually look like. Here's another option that I haven't used myself so I can't vouch for it: http://gpspois.wikispaces.com/ Edited April 1, 2009 by sdarken Quote Link to comment

Or convert .GPx to XLS Thanks What version of Excel do you have? Excel 2003 will open the GPX since it is XML. That said, there are other tools such as GSAK that may be better suited for your needs. +coman123
I am actually using Open Office so in fact they use .ods files but can read .xls files If I try to open a .gpx file with open office caculator, it converts it to a word doc and wont read in in Caculator (excel) Quote Link to comment

I think you're best bet it to use GSAK. Quote Link to comment

You may have to use the "Text to Columns" feature to get the columns to work out. Quote Link to comment
