+Mineral2
nope. Unfortunately you're stuck transferring data the old-fashioned way with a USB cable and a proper computer. The bluetooth on the 600 will transfer data to and from other bluetooth enabled Garmin handhelds, just faster than using ant+. But to get your tracks to garmin Connect or any other fitness tracking service, you'll have to go through Basecamp on a computer. Edited September 18, 2016 by mineral2 Quote Link to comment

Or you can use a small wifi router to connect the iPhone to the Oregon 600. I can't recall the last time I hooked my Oregon into a computer. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
Somehow I was able to pair my Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone with my Oregon 600, but that's about it. I don't even recall how I did it now. But since there are no Android apps from Garmin that will talk with the Oregon, I've stopped looking. Not sure if Garmin Connect would work. Not sure if Garmin Connect would work. The only current app to connect Bluetooth to these handhelds is Connect and it is available in Android. The app does not support transfer of caches to a device. There are no IOS apps either. Garmin has not included the functionality. It would be technically possible, but the programming was not done. They added it to the 700 series and I'm sure will follow with other newer models. You must connect with a cable, period. Quote Link to comment

It doesn't work. I "forgot" the pairing and then tried to pair again. My phone sees the 600 but it won't pair with it now (it will pair with other devices). My OTG cable and adapter works fine when in the field, so that will have to be my solution when away from my computer. Quote Link to comment

It would be regardless. Connect does not help you get any information on to the GPS. It is only useful for exporting. Quote Link to comment
