+pseudoprime
I have been having a problem where the coordinates jump to all zeroes in compass view, but strangely I am shown as 1.2 miles away from the cache. It is not a problem in map view, or other apps. Image of problem Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
I just tried it, and I have the same issue. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
I checked today's update, and while sitting still the compass shows zeroes for my current location, but as soon as I start moving it updates to proper coordinates. Quote Link to comment
Ben H
Thanks for reporting the issue. I have entered a bug in our system to track it and we will investigate soon. Quote Link to comment
+Zippy72345
A week or so ago mine would just be stuck on the zeros for current location, and 1.2 mi from cache, so I have had to navigate from the little line that shows up when you are on the map page. Last week the compass started reacting, but got extremely jumpy, so that you couldn't even use it. Back to the map page and the little line, which worked fine. Other apps had no issues (such as Map my Hike), and functioned just fine using GPS. Compass was better today. Maybe it has been fixed? Quote Link to comment
+rocketgarden
We've put in a fix for the compass zero problem that should go out with the next release Quote Link to comment
+pseudoprime
This was fixed for me in the latest release. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
